deejaa -- there is a secondary use of the Template; where you slide it back and forth to align the [front and rear] wheels and transcribe the underside, for the spats and stuff.
Renault Dezir 2010 concept: I couldn't find a closeup of the backlight, but appears to be treated like this area on the front fender tops.
This suggests the backlight is perforated,
not a bad strategy optically.
