Had a nice talk with a Tech at Moates.net.
Learned that A) the darn Ford Computer its self will not allow A/F ratios higher than 15:1..B) that also the engine also limits the thinner ratios to a max of about 16.7:1 perhaps due to the chamber design…
This limit is not common with many OTHER makes of motor and PCM.
So now that I know the above, I can get to working on using a piggy back computer to get the job done, at lease with Fords.
I should have stuck with GM.
OH BY the way that Easter egg setting for the Lean Burn Cruse, was and is in many GM PCMs, even some OBDII PCMs as well as in the Camaro PCM.
Interesting...At lease some GMs Can have a setting changed for better MPH.
SO I WAS RIGHT.
