Hermann has a normal auto box pretending to be something fancier - a little like Cadillac trying to pretend they are as hip and special as BMW but failing usually. Not sure on pulse and glide for two reasons :
- The box sometimes doesn't kick down, which combined with turbo lag means no pulse.
- The box changes down as you slow unless I change to N.
Gunking like this ?
Thats what I was looking at. There is a fair amount of disassembly involved to get at those parts and a better designed manifold part for swirl flaps which is spendy, as everything is on this thing.
Had a "moment" with it yesterday when cold - moved it off the drive and reversing it back there was no movement in R. Swapped back to D and then to R again and it moved like there was no problem.
