Need to get rid of dead lithium (or any other) batteries?

The question has come up in other threads here and I have a few extra dead lead acid batteries laying around that I'm looking to get rid of (recycle for $). So, I hopped on to Batteries Plus website to see what they'd give me for the batteries (sadly nothing). But, I did notice they also recycle almost any battery type:

Battery Recycling - Recycle Your Battery at Batteries Plus

Battery Type
-Lead acid (Pb) Batteries
-Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) Batteries
-Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) Batteries
-Lithium Ion (Li Ion) & Lithium Polymer (Li Poly)

So, no, its not hard to find a place to take your dead lithium or any other form of batteries.

Sadly, they wont pay you for them. Does anyone else know of any places who will?
