I bent some aluminum sheet to be attached to the factory fender liner mounts on the fender liner end and use speed nuts on the other for the fender skirt, but that is as far as I got. My plan was to have several mounting points for the fender skirt to screw into so only the screw head would show on the outside. I got stuck trying to decide what material to make them out of. Post a photo if you get something that works on a VW and doesn't damage the paint.
