Ran into a little snag the other day.been having issues with the altenator belt slipping. The top adjuster bolt hole was stripped out. Someone put a 5/64corse thread in instead of the 8x110mm bolt. I pulled the altenator and replaced the standerd with a metric bolt that is a bit longer. I threaded it into the back side and put a nut and lock washer on the front side.
Now the snag, I drove to work when ariving I went in like normal. When I went to go home the car just cranked and cranked. Not good. I popped the hood and discovered the signal wires from the igniter to the dizzy ground itself out on the exhaust manifold. I pulled it off and the car fired right up. So i have the car mostly sorted.
