Here's some additional details on the engine:
Cummins Announces 5.0L V8 Diesel for North American On-Highway Markets

I think the version in this announcement may be slightly different than the Nissan pickup version, but I suspect they'll be fairly similar (just as the Ram pickup 6.7L ISB is slightly different than the non-pickup version).
