Not too much of an update- I installed a manual brake regen switch, which has disappointed me.

One, I am hurting this already bad tank by testing.
Two, the cold mornings are dropping my mpg each day by ~.3.
Three, my roommate drove into the Insight, damaging the front bumper, hood, and destroying the passenger headlamp.

Onto my first comment on the brake regen activator: It only functions when I am in gear, and when regen would normally activate. I can not slowly accelerate and charge the bad boy up, it has to be P&G style. I can not do it while costing- I almost never stay in gear if I am NOT accelerating. And, finally, it will not do it at low speeds. I normally don't end up in gear until >25, to slow down, and I use few gears- this will make me have to switch between gears more to take advantage.

BUT, I have not dismissed it. I am sure I will get use from it, and will find a way to utilize it. It is definitely more so for someone who drives like a more common driver.
