Regarding tuning boxes- I'd be careful of what you buy- some of them tend to just vary fuel temp readings to alter the rate of fuel flow/injector opening.

On a complex modern diesel like yours, I could see that having consequences for any inter related parameters that didn't get altered at the same time?
