That's one lesson that's good to learn. If something looks like its got rust on the outside you can bet its twice as bad on the other side. After years of rust repair I'm not suprised at all to find this. From the underside it looked like 2 pinholes spots that were rusted!!! The rubber floor mat may covered it up.

I'll be using plain old fashioned sheet metal. It's a pretty flat floor in those sections. I'll probably roll in some supports for strength.
