A friend of mine has a clapped-out Toyota Starlet. Last year he relayed to me that some guy at a bar in a neighboring town offered him $800 on the spot... and he turned it down. I told him to hang up, get in that car, and go sell it to him A.S.A.P!!! Because when
I say something is clapped out, there really are no further miles to be extracted. He didn't do it. It wasn't a month later when the next catastrophic failure occured to that P.O.S. I should know, I always wrenched on it- but I won't any more.
The next stop for that thing is the crusher and it won't be worth $800 there.
As far as my stuff, I had a Probe turbo once that a guy just had to have, and I had never even driven it yet. That's probably why I let him have it- I hadn't "bonded" to it yet...
Plenty of people have inquired about buying my Songi (electric bicycle) but nope, that's a keeper.
