Some progress back up to the values I'm after

Have noticed that the car struggles to heat up in the colder mornings, so I think a full service inc thermostat replacement is due- would be good to get the coolant changed before the Winter creeps in.

going to order the stuff tonight

In other news, I got some new suspension for it

The dampers are Bilstein B8's- just about the best non coilover you can get for the e30, The springs are unknown (likely swap to whats fitted currently). They are £300 for a pair of fronts, and £220 for a pair of rears.

The 51mm struts they are fitted to are about £70 in their own right, and the Topmounts are e30 M3 ones, eccentric for more camber £100 a side

the struts have relatively new (18month) old bearings fitted. £40 a side

suffice to say, I didnt pay £860

I'm over the moon

Now I just need to get the Burd's car in for its suspension refresh before fitting these..

Also, I'm gearing up for a raid on B& Q for insulating strips to seal the grill
