Yeah, that took up like 17 pages on insightcentral.net The shop was doing it for free to sell kits for other owners. The owner of the vehicle had a cow.

The shop says with the turbo it was tuned and has to be driven in sport mode. The owner says regardless the D blinks indicating a fault and the car is rather sluggish.No codes were ever posted in regards to the cvt issue.

Its my experience under increase load or power the cvt just runs a lower ratio or runs the engine at higher rpms. It also does this when it starts to warm up beyond operating temps, then unless something breaks it generates a code and flashes the D in the shift indicator. Im sure it could take that extra power.
