It only produced 137 hp at 6000 rpms, about what the late 1990s CivicEX made. And the turbo peaked the torque at 117 foot lbs at about 2800 rpms. Not the best tune for FE. The ecoboost 1.0L Ford turbo delivers most torque at or under 1500 rpms. Bummer about the CVT... get the manual tranny from someone?

Yeah, that took up like 17 pages on insightcentral.net The shop was doing it for free to sell kits for other owners. The owner of the vehicle had a cow.
The shop says with the turbo it was tuned and has to be driven in sport mode. The owner says regardless the D blinks indicating a fault and the car is rather sluggish. No codes were ever posted in regards to the cvt issue.
Its my experience under increase load or power the cvt just runs a lower ratio or runs the engine at higher rpms. It also does this when it starts to warm up beyond operating temps, then unless something breaks it generates a code and flashes the D in the shift indicator. Im sure it could take that extra power.
