Folks , sorry for a lack of updates in the thread been busy with work etc on the run up to Christmas. Thought I had hit a roadblock recently (visions of the Vanishing Point bulldozers!) when I couldn't fit a 2.8 ratio diff as planned due to different flange sizes on the half shafts and prop shaft. Thankfully getting to grips with it so just means swapping the half shafts and a bit of custom driveshaft work.
@hankjay All my batteries are lithium iron phosphate. The cells in the E36 are headway cylindricals that I really could not recommend due to performance and inconsistencies but they got my feet wet so to speak. Cells in the land yacht are 180Ah CA series from CALB.
