185/80r15

Well I have to bite the bullet and get new tires. My worn out but super low CRR 205/70R15 tires are just not going cut it this winter. I have a choice:

1 205/70R15 from tire rack, $59 each or

2) 185/80R15 from E-bay at $ 71 each

Stock size is 175/70R14 or 185/65R15 for the saturn.

I like the idea of a narrower tread. The 70s handle better, though
The 80 series 185 is .3 inch larger diameter. Both require spacers to get the scrub radius back down.

The 165/80R15s are great it he rain an slush, but don't corner well and are hard to seat.

The Federal 185/80R15 are only 35 psi, the 205/70r15 are 44 psi rated.

Durun D108 185R15C D/8PR is a light van tire rated for 65 psi
