I would have that over 70 MPG....

I wait for Mrs A to vacate her Prius and maybe it might be mine....
I wanted that car too, so much so that I went for a test drive in it.
It was horrible. It was very small inside, my then 3 year old daughter had no leg room when I set the chair to my length, back upright and all. The indicator stalk has a seam right where you touch it; it irritates with every touch. Nothing feels solid.

But worse than all else combined is the low torque at low RPM.
At a T junction I tried to pull away in first gear, RPM just above idle. It is a diesel, right? It went creeping forward at 5 km/h. hmm, more gas. Nope, still creeping. Traffic was coming up. Planking the damn thing! 7... 8...9...10 km/h... planking in first gear! INSANE!
Only past 1300 RPM did it really begin to accelerate, and jolted forward at 2000 RPM.
I was so happy to get back in my old Nissan Almera. Never liked it as much as I did after that dreadful test drive.
Next stop was the Honda dealer and the rest is history.

For confirmation go to people just like you.
For education go to people unlike yourself.
