I recently picked up some 18w 1800 lumen 30* spot LED lamps, for the my Jeep and to put in the foglight locations on my Neon.
At about 20' and about 4' off the ground. These might be too bright for low beam use on the street though.
And just for informational purposes, the 6" lights in the first pic can fit slim digital ballasts for HIDs in the housing behind the lens. I've seen it done, and will likely do it to a pair as well. Offroad only, or, really dark deserted, no oncoming traffic in sight highways. The 6" lights are available at Harbor Freight for about $10 each and take a H3 bulb. |
