I put in some Ebay LED fog lights (H11) that claim 700 lumens output. That would be about half of OEM output. You can hardly tell if they're on. They're visible from outside, so they make good marker lights, but for illuminating the road they're useless.
Take the rated lumens with a shaker-full of salt.
Now the ones from Superbrightleds.com are good. I bought my taillights and markers and license bulbs from them, choosing the ones that matched OEM lumens, and they do match. You can take their ratings to the bank.
