Done! It does take 2-3 seconds of holding the switch for the engine to fully shut off. I also wired a safety switch into mine. I need that switch on before I can push the momentary switch. I wanted to be able to turn it off so I don't hit it by accident.
Now I need to practice bump starting at speeds and coming up to stop signs. I tried bump starting at 5 mph or so and the car came to a stop, without starting. Oops...
