The sprinter can be ordered in that configuration (2wd though). Have a look around their site.

You might be able to stay with 2wd, if you beef up the stock components (air/electric locker, lift, tires) much like the TRD prerunners. With my truck, I've only locked in the front a few times, and even then, a winch would have gotten me through. This was on much tougher terrain than what you said.
