If I lived in Hyperbole PA, and played dodge the tractor trailer I would rather do it in a vehicle capable of, you know, dodging. The difference between a 5 star rated car and an often unrated large pickup truck/suv vs a Simi is likely close to nil yet the ability to stop turn and accelerate is not compromised by an extra 3000 lbs false sense of security.

Is Bigger Safer? It Ain't Necessarily So

If the Ello handles good enough, and meets their target goal for crash survivability I would definitely consider one.
Exactly. Just saw another mid size 4 door car vs truck accident. Truck hit the car from behind and turned it into a 2 door flatbed. For me a 5 star rating is just a good point for resale.
