The OEM system already stores vacuum pressure produced by the engine in vacuum lines and a small "canister." This mod adds more volume to the storage by putting an extra canister in-line with the existing system. The larger volume means "more" vacuum storage and hence more brake assist, and therefore, I needn't restart the engine for a second on my way down some of the mile and a half long dramatic hills around here. I like it a lot.
