I don't own a printer either...$0.15 per page at the library is much better than replacing dried up cartridges.
I think that home printing is outdated. Yes, I can print without getting up from my recliner, but if I need to print, sign, scan, shred, and recycle, I can digitally sign without lifting my hand from my mouse, and then I am not replacing a printer every year, or every time the ink runs out.

I use PDFX-Change for signing legal documents. I made a stamp using my signature and if anyone complains about me using the typewriter feature, they should see my handwriting!

No, it does not get any neater.

Printers and cartridges need to be biodegradable.

When I took the A+ certification course, the instructor was kind enough to explain:
If you work on computers in an office, never admit you know how printers function or you will forever be “that guy who knows how to fix the printer”. You will be called on at every inopportune moment to come press a button or something equally as tedious to clear up their boneheaded mistakes.
