I don't have a printer, so it will be a while before registering. Last day for entry is March 28th, I noted.

Also, I do not think the Insight will be joining us :/

More to follow, on that.

UltArc,
If you can generate a .pdf file you could register via the GGP site now and "print" the document to .pdf instead of on paper. Then print it wherever you can at your leisure.

Looking forward to seeing all EcoModders who go!

I will just have to go to the library before then, or find a friend with one.

I won't be able to get off work, but I'll be following the results.

I don't own a printer either...$0.15 per page at the library is much better than replacing dried up cartridges.

I think that home printing is outdated. Yes, I can print without getting up from my recliner, but if I need to print, sign, scan, shred, and recycle, I can digitally sign without lifting my hand from my mouse, and then I am not replacing a printer every year, or every time the ink runs out.

I use PDFX-Change for signing legal documents. I made a stamp using my signature and if anyone complains about me using the typewriter feature, they should see my handwriting!

No, it does not get any neater.

Printers and cartridges need to be biodegradable.

When I took the A+ certification course, the instructor was kind enough to explain:
If you work on computers in an office, never admit you know how printers function or you will forever be “that guy who knows how to fix the printer”. You will be called on at every inopportune moment to come press a button or something equally as tedious to clear up their boneheaded mistakes.

Good news I might be able to serve as a navigator/helper. Bad news is I still weigh 250 lb.

It looks we have an Ecomodder meetup in the works! If you can make the drive but don't want to enter, drop on by! It's like eco car heaven. You get to meet a lot of tinkerers and see they're creations. There's one guy there, i think he owns the BMW Isseta, also owns a Bebe Pulse Autocycle. I'll have to see if he'll let me take a look at the autocycle after the event.

I've been talking to one our "mystery" members about entering his radically aeromodded car. You guys would really appreciate seeing it in person if he makes it. It would steal the show. It all depends on the weather though, so lets hope we get a warm spell!

I'll be there again this year.

Steve does own an Isseta, but the bubble car he entered in the 2012 GGP was a Heinkel. I'm sure he wouldn't mind showing off his whole micro car collection, he gave me a tour a couple of years ago. I'll find out if he's going to the GGP this year.
