Not-as-good battery prices

The older CALB SE series, 100 A-h cells are on sale at EVTV for $1.00 per amp-hour. Elsewhere they are still over $1.30 per amp-hour.

About $312.50 per kw-h. A 24.3 kw-h pack would be 76 cells ... or $7600 ... not $3600 .. including the battery straps and washers.

Nominal pack voltage would be 250V in series, or 125V for 2 parallel strings.

For comparison, the CALB CA 100's are $150 at EVTV, $135 at EVWest.

They don't have the performance (higher battery sag under load, lower maximum current) that the CA series do, but I think they are .. sorta .. comparable to the Renault pack
