there is no reason to test the K & N

other testing from different sources was performed with various filters
and
with no filter at all

with and without
up to a 50% restriction imposed by a custom cut chunk of cardboard to cover 50% of the filter surface added for good measure

so unless the K & N filter has a negative resistance to flow
ie BOOST
it can not make an improvement over no filter at all , just an empty air filter housing

which resulted in zero FE change

so
bottom line
any test result especially from K & N that claims an FE improvement using a K & N air filter is
BOGUS
and belongs ..... right here
