well , this weekend ahs been pretty uneventful.. besides 4th of july festivities i focused on rebuilding my vegetable oil filtering rig. I run veggie and get a equivilent of about 130 mpg in my 300d benz.. was testing some experimental filtering ideas.. in the end I think i have adapted a great system..
But bac to the CRX.. i took the foam sides off andthe hood extension off the hood in preperation to lower the hood back to stock. I am not seeing lots of air flow from under the hood and feel the stock arrangement will provide the same or better MPG, well see, its not a hard fix to go back to raised.. well see what t does for MPG.
Other than that i painted the rear boat tail and skirts just to see what its looking like.. look more presentable , its just in primer but looks a bit more finished.. its amazing how much people stare now.. my wife and i took a quick trip into town and she was looking at the people stare at the car and point etc.. kind of funny..
