ad assume that the car would be pretty long and moving the rear wheel back would help quite a bit for stability and comfort of the ride

I was thinking long as well, but do you think it would matter that the intersection points of the ackerman steering would not line up any more

filled up today 383.4 miles and 7.304 gallons of fuel.. 52.49 MPG, that's with 90 miles of 30mph head winds as a storm rolled in.. so basically I was traveling through the wind at 85-90 mph.. I was really having to get into the throttle more than usual to keep at the speed limit.

I think im going to put the hood back down to stock, I'm not seeing lots of air flow through the opening and if the wife wants to drive the CRX she doesn't like it..

well , this weekend ahs been pretty uneventful.. besides 4th of july festivities i focused on rebuilding my vegetable oil filtering rig. I run veggie and get a equivilent of about 130 mpg in my 300d benz.. was testing some experimental filtering ideas.. in the end I think i have adapted a great system..

But bac to the CRX.. i took the foam sides off andthe hood extension off the hood in preperation to lower the hood back to stock. I am not seeing lots of air flow from under the hood and feel the stock arrangement will provide the same or better MPG, well see, its not a hard fix to go back to raised.. well see what t does for MPG.

Other than that i painted the rear boat tail and skirts just to see what its looking like.. look more presentable , its just in primer but looks a bit more finished.. its amazing how much people stare now.. my wife and i took a quick trip into town and she was looking at the people stare at the car and point etc.. kind of funny..

How much foam would you say you get out of a single can of Great Stuff? .5 square foot? .75? I just used an entire can of it doing one side/corner of my Kammback.

i don't know a square foot minimum .. I was using the crack filler type, the stuff that really expands .. there are kinds for door and windows that don't expand as much..

Not in absolute volume but...

The theoretical yield of a can of GREAT STUFF is measured in lineal feet of a 3/8”– 1/2” diameter bead. One 12 oz. can of GREAT STUFF has about 250 lineal feet. One 16 oz. can has about 335 feet. One 20 oz. can has about 420 feet. One 6 oz. can yields approximately 120 feet.
