The electric trucks are legal only as a "Neighborhood Electric", 25 mpg max, so that would be illegal on many roads, and suicidal on most of the rest around here. Arizona does allow some Kei trucks to be registered as ATV's, which are now legal to be made street legal. The first quad I saw on the street with plates, was a BUILT Yamaha Rapter, the rider said he had a LOT of "Fun" with the local Police who did not know the law had changed! I have seen a couple of Kei trucks around, but now their pricing is increasing, $6-$8 thousand and up for nice ones, but there are people who regularly spend $20k+ on UTV's and even 50K to 100K on "Sand Cars" with over 500 horsepower, and make them street legal. Must be nice to have that kind of "Disposable" income!
