Every last drop if i could. I start to get beyond brave at 60 km past the warning light. There is one part of my commute that I have to commit to a fill up early or risk a 43 km gap between stations.
I have a 200 km commute roundtrip with hills, urban, highway mix. I actually added some 23 kms of rural driving which saved me about a half liter each way.
I put up with the fact that I have to buy gas every three or four days, I just hate stopping for it, like a detour of sorts.
