I had an 1984 Civic DX hatchback.
If I remember right, the SI has a "normal" engine instead of the cvcc, it might even be fuel injected.
It did come with wider tires and a few other things that hurt your mileage, like a transmission with less then idea gearing.

mine was rear ended and I still have it, altho I think it's going to the scrap yard this summer, I do have some odd parts if you want me to mail you anything.

my favorite things about this car is how much space there is inside, the rear windows that pop out to open and how reliable it was.

Some where I also have the factory shop manual in PDF form, if you want it, not sure the best way to send it, I used to, or still might have it online some place too.
