It's good to see another Paseo owner looking to clean up their ride. Mine is a '92 and only gets around 32mpg, but I also have a heavy foot... (working on that)
Anyway, I think I will be following you in your adventures, and if I come across something that works for mine I will let you know, but chances are you have better resources right now than I do

dsq - Getting a bike to fit into the back of a Paseo isn't easy. I couldn't get the trunk to close all the way and had to tie it down. Maybe if you relocated the spare tire, this would give a bit more on the vertical axis for pedals and maybe the handle bars. Removing the front tire would also help (mine isn't quick release, and I didn't want to fuss with it).
I may be removing my back seat and relocating my spare tire in order to start packing my bike around. If I get to this soon, I will post it up with some shots!
