Not sure, but I suspect there is nothing you need to do to sell it (no inspection, etc) ... It will be up to the buyer to get it road-worthy again.
Was the vehicle reported to the DMV as a "total loss" by the insurance company? If so, then obviously you'll have to state that in the advertisement and the new owner will need to go through the inspection process once the vehicle is repaired: see
