After doing some research on aero civic and posts by aerohead, I've decided on leaving the middle section open, however I will mold the front lip into a rounded tire spat so that it will divert the air AROUND either side of the front tire (some of the air will go to the outside of the front tire, while some of the air will ne channeled down the middle of my underbelly tray)

From aero civics blog:
"The wheels have been integrated into an airflow management system that splits the wind to either side of the front wheels, then keeps this divided flow moving smoothly down past the rear wheels where a wheel boat tail allows it to rejoin behind the car."

Of course I'll make it look somewhat presentable to the "normal eye."

I'll post up some sketches later.
