Cue the obfuscating! He will not elaborate in clear language, if memory serves. What will follow will be hemming, hawing, claiming intellectual property and keeping things close to the vest so Big Bad Corporations don't try to either buy him out, block him or have him killed down some dark alley and buried under one of the sidelines at Giants Stadium.

They'll rebuild Giants Stadium just to keep his miracle ultra futuristic confabulation hushed up, that's how important this is.

Doug, I'll gladly eat my words - not fooling, I will print them out, take a picture of myself eating the paper and post that picture here if you can provide better documentation than this stuff we've seen. "EPA testing" would mean giving the car to the actual EPA, not having its emissions checked at an inspection garage.

It doesn't have to be the EPA. If you wanted to get it thoroughly examined by the folks at Consumer Reports that would be fine, I tend to view their assessments as highly reliable.

I used to do that annual emissions inspection. I was 17, got minimum wage, and the boss said if the customer had $50, his car passed. So I would prefer to see a little - no, I'd rather see a lot more provenance before I accept your claims as stated. You've generated some bad karma here in the past and will have to reach a bit higher to overcome that before I can give you the credence you feel you've earned.
