However, that engine really is ancient, and I doubt that they could hit their fuel economy targets with it, even adding sequential port injection (which the turbo and I think 4-cylinder versions had).
Also, I think the only engine still being produced in that family is a 1.0 DOHC 4-cylinder for Pakistan. Not exactly my choice for maximum fuel efficiency.
