so theory of hoaxes regarding extra oxygen in the exhaust causing something is complete and utter
blarney

02 sensors or more correctly Lambda sensors
see and measure the presence of
combustibles ,
any combustibles
including hydrogen
in the exhaust

so
if some pudding head is attempting to describe why HHO does not work
(in newer systems with feedback from 02 / lambda / AFR sensors)
and he or she starts talking about
lean condition caused by adding more combustibles or 02 to the equation
then that pudding head is fibbing or ignorant or
attempting to deceive the reader or audience

and Lambda or
stoich is
14.69 to 1 NOT 14 to 1
