I'm going to ask what might be a stupid question but is there any maintenance that needs to be done? Plugs, wires, belts, fluids, etc. you probably have but every now and again you find someone who hasn't or sometimes a spark plug is bad and just needs to be replaced even if it is newer. I was just talking to someone the other day who said they don't change or even check their transmission fluid because they (and I quote) "were told that you don't need to because it's just a scam and you never should do anything to the transmission because that's just going to wreck it. You don't even need to fix it if it breaks because you're better off with a whole new transmission anyway"

At that point I understood why they were having transmission problems in their car.
