degrading? what'd derogatory in conserving fuel?

honestly, being a hypermiler means learning control over your vehicle and NOT letting speed take control over you.

in a broader perspective, gaining more control over one's vehicle tends to improve one's skill, unlike being a speed freak that you just step on it and roll. i myself am guilty of being one before.

by practicing the techniques of hypermiling, i knew, there's more to it than just going.

if only i knew how to do this since the car was bought, i bet my car runs better than how it does now. since hypermiling does less wear and tear.
