Got her fixed about a month ago, but inadvertently cleared my trip OD.
I removed the A.C. condenser and the lower dash panels, dropped another 25 or so pounds.(speakers are heavy,sub and 2, 4" ers.) Just recently filled her up, so next tank in a couple of weeks.
I am on the hunt for a cheap, kinda low mileage (100k)1zz (corolla) motor. At 130-145 HP depending on the model it came out of this motor should drop an additional 150-200 lbs and increase HP by 25-40, probably more because my engine doesn't run right. Plus get better economy due to a 1.8l modern F.I. system vs 2.4l 1gen F.I. system.
Still have alot of work to do on this car...
