Thumbs up FS: 48 volt Geo Metro ... the ForkenSwift ... $700 ... eastern Ontario

(Car may not be exactly as shown... rockers are shot, and it's not quite this shiny at the moment...)

OK, I guess I'm getting serious about this now. Here's my dedicated "for sale" post...

ForkenSwift is up for grabs! This is primarily due to extensive underbody rust, brake failure (probably a line... I didn't even bother to confirm), and generally too many projects crowding it off the "to-do" list.

It was a really fun project and a useful vehicle as a low/medium speed EV runabout. (It was always my first choice to drive if I had to use a 4-wheeled conveyance within its range.)

Full details/specifications are at: Electric car conversion on a beer budget - ForkenSwift.com Everything's included: charger, worn out batteries, EV grin, the works! Car is in working condition, however "rough around the edges" is probably a generous overall description.

My buddy and I put a grand total of about ~$1400 in the project, but THIS WEEK ONLY, WE'RE HAVING A 50% OFF SALE! That's right, yours for just $700! If you know of a solid Metro/Firefly/Swift, you could have it back on the road in a weekend.

You can come get just the EV bits, or borrow the tow bar and drag it to your destination.

But I will be removing various non-EV parts & body panels from the car to keep as spares for another vehicle. It will be stripped/hacked but will still roll.

I already have someone interested in the motor, but would prefer to sell the whole thing before the end of June.

This is your chance to own a small, blue, rusty piece of DIY EV history!

Here's another misleading photo:
