well, here's my thoughts:

i'm trying to be a "hypermiler" (or insert your slogan of choice) to save gas, but i drive a (small) suv, so i'm a gas hogging terrorist fund raiser.

i do maintenance on custodial and construction equipment, so i'm a "grease monkey". but i am working on a degree in computer aided drafting, so i'm a "nerd"

i love to discuss philosophy, but i enjoy a drunken party every once in awhile.

i love to bike, fish, camp, canoe, and enjoy nature, so i'm a "tree hugger". but i own a lifted, big mud-tired, 4x4 truck and like to use it (responsibly), so i am automatically labeled a drunk redneck that tears up the countryside.

oh yeah, and i'm a yankee (nothern ny) living in the south (arkansas). everyone assumes i'm from the "city", even though i grew up more country than they did.

this way i keep everyone so confused they don't know what to call me. and i stopped worrying what other people thought of me along time ago.
