So, it sounds like you're filling up often, then. Is that so you can test your changes more frequently?

If I were doing that, I'd try to come up with some sort of graduated flask in place of the stock fuel tank for more accurate readings. My "full tank" fillups are an attempt to increase accuracy in the mpg calculation. You can "even out" the variation by keeping an average of all your fillups, but then it's harder to isolate the effect of each change.

Your car's too old for a ScanGauge, right? Cuz those things really help zero-in on what works and what doesn't.
