If you bought fiberglass roving & matting + a liter or 2 of fiberglass resin you could make a improved version of it.

I would use a one sided waxed mold identical to the car, to shape on to help keep it accurate.

For some reason when I try to build things instead of buying them I end up paying twice as much, taking longer then what I thought and it never really comes out right. Although, there is that satisfaction of DIY!!!
