I am the original owner of my truck. I have been doing EOC in this truck literally for decades. I just replaced the original clutch at over 200,000 miles. The tranny has never been opened.

If it introduces extra wear, it might just be negligible. I probably could have gone another five years on the clutch except both my kids now know how to drive a stick, and the older one isn't especially keen on it. He cooked it pretty good.
