Really? I drove 2 different Fiesta autos when I was delivering auto parts a couple years ago and they were TERRIBLE. From my understanding they are "automated manuals". Accelerating from a stop was always slightly delayed and you could hear the clutch making noise. Shifts were OK but if you were coasting at say 5mph and needed to stomp on the gas, to pull into traffic from a cross street or parking lot, the car had no idea what to do. Mash the gas and NOTHING happened for half a second, then the engine revved really high and after that the trans finally propelled the wheels. Scary stuff when you are jumping out in front of a loaded dump truck. I'll keep the old slush box any day of week over those piles of elephant dung. Unless Ford fixed the "confused" trans syndrome I can't see how anyone would like those transmissions. Sorry for the thread hijack.
