Typical mgp on my daily commute:
TO WORK (mainly uphill climb):
without hypermiling - 21-22mpg
with hypermiling - 29-32mpg
TO HOME (mainly downhill):
without hypermiling - 26-27mpg
with hypermiling - 36-38mpg
My daily commute is bout 80% highway driving, so i use lots of Engine off coasting and i stay out of boost
.
if i do go into boost, i'll let the engine idle for about 5 seconds to let the oil cool down the turbo before i go into engine off coasting.
