Strange, I thought the Altima (and the Sentra, both now the previous generations) had best of breed CVTs. They allowed nice slow rev cruising and both cars yielded excellent MPG according to the factory FCD. I thought the Quest van, with it's high weight and more powerful V6 messed up its function...it felt confused and overloaded, always hunting through ratios and never settling down.
