Some engines can run on as little as a quart of oil without damaging anything,think about it the oil pump sits in the very bottom of the sump and pumps that motor all through-out the engine regardless.Yea it's not ideal but as long as it's all getting oil flow no harm no foul.Not like I'm saying you can go and run your engine on a quart of oil now but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Ohh I'm not worried about it, it just makes me mad that I was worrying myself because I believed I was using to much oil when I was really using to little. It was always in the back of my mind when I was driving it.
